The White Umbrella Prayer Flag, also known as the "Dugkar" flag in Tibetan, is a special type of prayer flag used in Tibetan Buddhism. It features an image of Ushnisha Sitatapatra, the White Umbrella Goddess, along with various mantras and prayers dedicated to her.  Her white umbrella symbolizes her ability to shield beings from calamities, obstacles, and negative influences.
These prayer flags are believed to possess protective qualities, similar to those attributed to the White Umbrella Goddess herself. When hung or displayed outdoors, they are said to purify the environment and offer protection from negative influences, diseases, and other obstacles.
